Native Forest Regeneration

Let's regenerate our forests! Nature knows best, but it needs our help to fix what we mismanaged. Please support my dream to re-wild my homeland with native plants and birdlife.

Bird Advocacy & Protection

There are around 116 bird species on Norfolk, and many of them are found nowhere else in the world. I want to ensure a safe and beautiful environment for them to thrive.

Future Council

I was one of eight children chosen to travel Europe, seeking eco-solutions and asking CEOs hard questions. Now, we are sharing these lessons with the world and inviting you to join!

Bird Photography

Birds are the most fascinating and at times difficult subjects to photograph! Bird photography has taught me so much about nature, patience and the importance of biodiversity.

Almost completely stripped of vegetation due to introduced invasive species, things looked grim for the once lush island

Native Forest Regeneration

There are a number of fantastic native reforestation programs and invasive weed eradication programs running on Norfolk and our sister island Phillip. My current mission is to help repopulate our nearby Phillip Island with native flora, through the funding of an upgraded native plant nursery. Working alongside Norfolk Island National Parks, our shared dream is to restore the biodiverse forest of the once verdant island.

If you want  to support this project, please click the button below for more information - it will take you to the Paypal fundraiser page that is only active until 06 JUNE 2025. All funds donated go directly into re-wilding our beautiful Phillip Island!

PHILLIP ISLAND!

A concerted effort to restore the island has brought life back to Phillip, but there are difficulties in repopulating the native flora

Bird Advocacy and Protection

I have always been inspired by the people who dedicate their lives to protecting animals. Wild animals should be able to move through their native environments undisturbed by humans as much as possible.

When I started painting birds as a hobby, I realised that if I turned them into cards I could sell them and then donate money to the local Flora and Fauna society. We decided together that the funds should be used to create awareness signs for our migratory Wedge-Tailed Shearwaters (Ghostbirds) as they are highly vulnerable to traffic at night time when they return to the island to roost. I am currently working on some new cards and merchandise to raise more funds for further Flora and Fauna projects - stay tuned!

Future Council

In 2023 I joined 7 other children from around the world to embark on a journey of a lifetime! Three weeks travelling across Europe in a yellow school bus, we learnt the value of our collective voice. We spoke to powerful leaders whose companies are mass polluters and we met with passionate advocates for the environment who showed us ways to live in the modern world but still remember our responsibility to Earth. We made lifelong friendships that inspire me every day to try my best and remember to use my voice for good!

The Future Council began as a documentary film with just 8 children, but it has now expanded to a GLOBAL platform where kids from the ages 9-16 can hop on board! We are combining our voices to make significant change in our communities, funnelling money to eco projects and making sure that the adults live up to their promises to care for our future. NO greenwashing and NO adultwashing!

Bird Photography

I wish people could see what I see when I look at birds! They are the descendants of great creatures that once roamed the earth, and they have always been the ambassadors of our wild spaces. They exemplify biodiversity with their vast variations of species, habitats and behaviours. They perform vital functions for our ecosystem such as controlling pests, spreading seeds, and pollinating vegetation.

Learning to photograph birds has taught me so much and given me so much happiness. I was recently gifted a Nikon Z50II with a bird-tracking feature, so together with my Sigma 150-600 Sport lens, I am excited to see how I can improve my photography!
